Well, I got an official date for the carpet - they will be installing it on Feb 10th!! WOO HOO!!

We will probably be going back down to Gwinnett on Saturday to the hospital. While we're down there, we might leave the kids at my moms and get some much needed time alone! Hopefully my mom won't mind watching them...

Feeling kinda mopey today... I hate Wednesdays... and I'm just completely exhausted.. been staying up too late working on customs.... and then getting up with Gracie who for some reason wants to get up at 6 am now! UGH!

Soooo... that's it for now... gotta get some things done..

Update - Jan 30

Well, my SIL is still in the hospital - no improvement from what we've heard... keep praying for her.

I had to go to the health department yesterday and get a shot :-( I had scratched my arm good on the dog's cage and I know I haven't had a tetanus shot in a while.... the shot didn't hurt but afterward, my whole body was aching especially my jaw! I could hardley chew! I'm much better today though. They said that there wouldn't be a problem with it since I'm nursing Paul, but I'll tell you what... he screamed bloody murder the next time he nursed! We were out at Longhorn so we ended up having to just leave in the middle of dinner - he's never screamed like that before. We had some errands to still run and he wasn't calming down, so we ended up running to Kroger and getting him a bottle of formula - that helped until we got our errands finished.

Chris is at the gun range this week. He's got his service weapon now.

Nothing too exciting to post today. We spent yesterday at the hospital - my sister in law is there in the ICU... please pray for her.

Chris worked overtime today....

Smart Move....

Well... gee.... I changed my password the other day for my blog and ummmm.. I had forgotten it and got locked out for trying too many times!! Sooo... not a smart move to change the password and forget it! Finally back in today! Been a while since I updated. Monday, Paul turned 3 months old!!

We went and got his 3 months pics taken too - they turned out really cute - can't wait to get them back!

Also my nephew, Bo, turned the Big ONE yesterday!! I can't believe he's 1 year old!

On another note, I finally earned enough to get my big lights to do high key white lighting! Here's my first model - not perfect, but we're getting closer!

We are also moving the house around getting ready for the carpet to be installed. Chris and I have also decided for Gracie and Paul to share a room and use the other bedroom for a guest room/photo studio area. So we're getting prepared for that. Gracie's thrilled about Paul moving into her room. We're also talking about possibly moving in the future when we get the house all spic and span. I know we've not even been here a year yet. We're thinking of a little bigger house a little closer to Athens. We're hoping to get our house in order so we can sell it and make money off it - should be easy since our property value just jumped up. We'll just have to see what happens. Hope all of you are well!

We ordered our carpet and today the man came and measured the house. We decided not to do the linoleum as it really is fine. Just getting the carpet done.

BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Today was an absolute GORGEOUS DAY!!!! We had a very nice day too!

We've been having some issues with Gracie's pup. Sooo... today we had a personal dog trainer come out. OH MY Goldie is sooo much better! The main problem was that Goldie was trying to dominate the whole house including us and the kids. So the trainer basically trained us on how to deal with that to show our dominance. And I really couldn't believe how fast she changed! It was soooo worth it to not have to worry about Goldie stepping on Gracie when she plays on the floor or having her in peoples face when company comes over! Goldie is a different dog now! And we're all much happier!

We also went out and looked at carpet today! Super excited about that! We are going back tomorrow - we brough home some samples today to discuss and check out. I think we're going to go with a really tight berber carpet - kinda a whitish tan. And we've got a neat linolium picked out too. We're getting a great deal on the linoleum. They ordered the wrong thing for a customer so we're getting it half price! Hopefully we can place our order tomorrow and get it installed next week or the week after! WOO HOO!

Chris is working tonight... mandatory overtime STINKS! He's been in school mon-fri and they called him fri telling him he better show up tonight for duty or he'd get written up.... they seriously need to hire more people. I'm tired of them forcing him to work all this overtime - we are rarely seeing him now-a-days... And he's exhausted...

Well, both kids are in bed for the night, so I'm going to go do some crocheting!

WOO HOO!

YEAH! Just heard from Chris that he passed his first and hardest test at the Police Academy! Out of 30 people in the class, 8 failed. If you fail a test, you get one more chance to do better and then they kick you out! So thank goodness he doesn't have to worry about that. He got an 82. The highest grade in the class was a 93. I'm so proud of him for passing! YEAH CHRIS!

Blah Blah..

Nothing too exciting today- just another day... I finished up Gracie's Valentine bag. I don't think I'm going to list it on ebay though becuase I don't think I'll get what I've got into it. And heck... I don't think I want to make another one (although it wasn't hard). The picture doesn't do it justice.

I did a bunch of laundry today - I swear the kids go through tons! Gracie has to change her outfit a million times a day - especially if she gets anything on her shirt! ARGH! Paul has developed a routine... he will sleep all night but not nap but maybe 10 minutes during the day! NOT FUN! You know... sometimes you just need a few minutes to Veg out!

Soooo... like I said, nothing too exciting today. Just doing some thinking... I'm thinking we're canceling our trip to Helen - if we want to save up to go to Florida in November, we need to focus on that. My ebay auctions are doing okay - I expect (hope) that they will go higher - I really want to get a light to acheive the high-key white lighting... it's an expensive light, so that's why I'm selling a ton of the kids' clothes... and Gracie's been growing like a weed too - she's outgrown a lot of her stuff.

Well, Chris just went to bed, so I'm going to go join him.... it's getting cold! lol!

I just had to add that we've been getting some good sleep the past 2 nights - Paul has gone to bed at around 8pm and wakes up around 5:30-6! WOO HOO!!!!!

Had a Great Weekend!

Had a Great Weekend here! Did a little grocery shopping, clothes shopping, and ummm.... after Christmas Toy Bargain Shopping! I got 3 new shirts! WOO HOO! LOL! Our Walmart had tons of toys listed at ridiculousy low prices, so we got a few things for Birthday presents and a few things for the kids. Got a doodle bear for 50 cents! Got a train table that included the train for 9.00! Got a Bella Dancerella Cheer set for 7.00! (I'm so glad I didnt' get that for one of Gracie's presents before Christmas -then it was 25.00!)

Saturday Chris' sisters and parents came over. The girls had a blast jumping on the trampoline and they had fun with the playdough as well.

Chris is enjoying the Police Academy. His graduation is set for March 16th and I'm throwing him a big party on the 17th! I'm so proud of him!

Paul's New Toy

Well today we got Paul a new toy - one of those Jumperoos! He LOVES it. Absolutely LOVES it!

The kids are both doing well. Paul is now too squirmy for his cradle. Time to graduate to the playpen for nighttime. He's still rooming with us. Gracie roomed with us till she was about 5-6 months and he'll probably do the same. During the day he takes naps in his crib or pretty much wherever!

Yeah! Daddy's off Today!

That's what Gracie said this morning! Gracie and Chris have been outside all day! We're putting the net up on the trampoline and Chris is organizing his shed. I'm about to start marinating the steak for dinner tonight - we're gonna have steak, collared greens, black eyed peas, and cornbread! YUM! Gotta have the traditional New Year's Day food!
