Paul's Stats!
Well, I stayed up till about 1 last night ordering stuff for Chris' party. It's going to be fun! Chris grandparents and uncle are coming up from Florida and I just heard that they will be staying with us. That will be nice - Gracie hasn't had the chance to spend much time with them. Trying to figure out what we will have for the meals.. any suggestions? Typically I would make a lasagna for parties and such, but I'm just not in a lasagna making mood. We've also been eating mainly organic and it would cost a fortune to feed everyone at the party organic food.
I don't suppose I've mentioned that we're eating organic, huh? Let me just say that the food tastes a thousand times better than the regular stuff. Especially organic spighetti sauce! WOWSA! I am now back to my prepregnancy weight but I'm striving to still lose more and it's neat watching the pounds drop with no effort by just eating organic.
Gracie had a hard time at first getting used to more raw veggies but now she's doing fine. We're somewhat going by the book "Raw Food Detox Diet". Definately not strickly, but the basic idea. Seriously - organic food tastes SOOO much better. We haven't had to not eat sweets either - Kashi makes an AWESOME whole grain cookie! And you can have as much real dark chocolate as you want!
Anyways, it's working for us and we're loving it. It's been a lifestyle change.

Weekend Weariness!
So glad that Chris is going to graduate soon - I'm soooo proud of him! However, there are the side effects that come with his job. For example.... Friday night, we are minding our own business going grocery shopping at Kroger. These two tall trouble-maker looking guys walk by. I asked Chris if he knew them. He says that he didn't think so. A couple minutes, they walk back by, whispering to each other. Then I looked at Chris' face and could definately tell they knew him. They walk a few more feet away, turn around and say our last name. There is nothing worse than having inmates know Chris in public, and even worse when they try to talk to him. For obvious reasons, it always makes Chris absolutely livid, especially when the kids and I are around. You would think that they would have better things to do than to try to talk to him. It's so uncomfortable. Let's just say that we took about a 10-20 minute detour on the way back to the house to make sure that no one was following us. Chris and I actually have a code word that basically means grab the kids and get the heck out of wherever we're at. Most of the time we're able to duck away before any of them recognize him.
Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

Happy 4 Months PAUL!
And Paul can sit for a little while now!
I'm so happy to be a mommy to those 2 kiddos. I truly have been blessed. It's so awesome to see them play together too!
Well, Gracie just went and picked out new sheets for her bed last night since she's sleeping in the bottom of the bunkbed now - would you believe she picked PURPLE sheets that had a SILKY Comforter? They are soooo neat! I think I want to sleep in her bed! I'll have to take a pic later. The kids are now sharing a room so we can have my background, sewing, crocheting, and chris' workout thingie in the other room. Well, they aren't really sharing a room yet since Paul still sleeps in the playpen in our room. Their is also a guest bed in the extra bedroom now.
Hope you all have a great day!

New Paul Pics!
He's filled to the brim with personality and loves to voice his opinion.
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Chris actually got the whole weekend off. We did some grocery shopping yesterday and spent today just the 4 of us at home. This week should be fun - we're going to the Yellow River Game Ranch on Wednesday! It's supposed to be close to 70 degrees! WOO HOO!
Well... I'm not so disspointed with my upcoming birthday now! It was just going to be me and the kids. My sister in law and I have decided to go down to Pine Mountain to see the Wild Animal Safari and also to check out callaway gardens. We are going to stay in a 2 room cabin! So excited about that! No men allowed! Just us and the 3 kids - Gracie, Paul, and Bo.
I finished the cupcake purse! It turned out cute! This one is Gracie's but I'll be listing one like it soon!

Well I got tagged!
1. I can't find my crochet hooks... they are burried somewhere in the chaos in the kitchen.
2. I am so ready for spring.
3. I hate wearing shoes. Much rather be barefoot or have sandels
4. I hate being stuck in the house - Chris got rid of his car about a year and a half ago and we just have the durango. I am stuck in the house with the kids all day whenever he's at work. I am just about to LOSE MY MIND... I'm not a "homebody". I like to take the kids to the park, library, and wherever... but NO I'm stuck. It wasn't that bad when he's on his regular shift at the jail but since he's been in the police academy, being stuck in the house 5 days in a row is awful.
5. I am very grouchy today....
Soooo... I'm tagging Chris' little sisters Deborah and Lois because they are the only other ones besides Beki that I know has a blog!
Who all is reading this? Anyone? Anyone out there?

Too tired.... too sore...

Blah!
I can't wait for the carpet to be installed! It's exciting because while I'm getting everything ready to be moved, I'm decluttering as well! We got rid of a nice bag of stuff while Gracie was at Grandma's. She hasn't noticed anything missing yet! WOO HOO!
Been crocheting up a storm. Got a couple new things that I hope to list tonight. We'll see how they go!
Have you done your taxes yet? We haven't. Still waiting for Chris to have a moment to sit down with me and see if we have everything here so I can go ahead and get them done! The quicker we get them in, the quicker our return will get here. Isn't it great having kids ;-) Nice returns! I actually saw a Onesie in Target for a baby that says "TAX RETURN". Rather humerous, huh?
Well, It's that time of year - Valentine's Day. I've never been big on Valentine's Day, but then my parents weren't early. We're just happy to have a nice dinner and get the kids in bed early. No romantic dinner or outing needed! Do I think Chris will get me something for Valentine's Day? Probably not. Am I upset? Nope - I don't need flowers - they just die. Chocolate? Well... that's always nice. I prefer DARK Chocolate. Jewelry? I just lose it! LOL.... I lost my wedding ring - I'm hoping to maybe find it when we move some of the big furniture for the carpet. I took it off because my hands were swelling toward the end of the pregnancy with Paul and I can't find it anywhere. I found my MOM ring that Gracie and Chris bought me. I found my engagement ring. But no wedding ring. We've been going to some jewelry stores looking for another ring - (Chris wants to go a bit bigger than my other one). When we have both kids with us, they will come up and ask if they can help - we say we're looking for a wedding ring. You should see some of the looks we get - Wedding Ring? You have 2 Kids and you're not married? I saw one that I really liked and the lady says to me "No, you don't want that one - that's more of an anniversary wedding ring for when you've been married a while". I say "We've been married 5 years in March! I just lost my other one!" Good grief. Then she kept trying to talk me into ones where the diamonds all stuck out far. I scratch the kids enough with my MOM ring and my engagement ring without having a big fat diamond stuck out there too! I tried on this one that was really expensive (several grand) and I was like WOOAH... too much BLING for me! Make someone go blind! Sooo... I'm more of simple when it comes to jewelry. I only like white gold, with small amount of diamonds. Maybe we'll find the perfect ring soon so I can be "Married" again! Till then, I live the single life! LOL! NOT!

Crazy Week!
Now this week, I'm clearing off shelfs and getting ready for our carpet to be installed on Saturday! This should be interesting... trying to get everything off the carpeted areas and keep the kids out of their way - pray for no rain!!
Lookie at what I just created! I love it!

Got a couple orders for those already! WOO HOO!
Have a great rest of the week!

Pics!
Gracie in Painted*With*Ez
Gracie in a hat I made to test a pattern by Jaybird*Designs
Browsing Ebay... a dangerous thing... LOL
I think I've found the PERFECT Easter Dress for Gracie!! Whatcha think? DRESS
Just don't outbid me! I hope it stays within the price range that Chris has given me!! I showed it to him as well and he LOVED it! I haven't been so in love with an outfit like this in forever!!
Well, I'm officially a pattern tester! LOL! I am testing a pattern for a crochet friend - I believe she's going to try to get the pattern listed on YOUCANMAKETHIS.com. The pattern is for a cute hat- I'm just about finished with it, then I have to tell her what I think of that pattern and send a pic of what I made.
Today we have some slushy ice on the group and it's sleeting. No snow unfortunately. Chris had to go to the police academy this morning although all the counties have no school for today. He said that the roads were slippery but not too bad. Today is his last day to practice shooting before his test tomorrow on the range.
Have a great day!
