New!

Okay-  so obviously, Haag Party of 5 wasn't going to be working anymore, so working with my fabulous Sister N Law, we created a great new page!  Go HERE where you'll find our new blog.  I'm going to be leaving all these posts here and starting fresh on the new blog.

Presenting Baby Number 4!

We went yesterday to Atlanta for my first appointment. I have been really nervous about meeting the doctor and everything, but immediately my mind was at ease. He is a fantastic doctor - there are no words to describe how wonderful he was and how knowledgable he is about natural childbirth. We loved him immediately. I have full confidence that this will be a much better experience than the others.

Chris and I are having a little fun with this pregnancy. People have been making little comments so we're having fun with the comebacks. Here's some of our favorites:

Q: Wow - 4? Don't you know what's causing it?
A: Yes, why, do you need some tips?
OR Yes, and we really like it :-)

Q: Congrats - is this your first (other pregnant mom at drs office)
A: Actually it's my fourth!
**Stunned Silence** I can't help but laugh at their lack of words :-)

By the way, if you want a kid, come hang out with us. We're apparently contagious :-) Lots of friends popping up with surprises!

Want a peek inside at the kid? Baby Number 4 kept putting HIS (yes I'm trying to use HIS so maybe that will help it be a boy! haha!) hands by HIS face. Hmmm... maybe if I make this post blue that will help too :-)

The doctor chuckled and said "Oh look - he's serving papers in there!" which of course made us laugh. 10 weeks, 4 days! Almost out of the 1st trimester and it's gone by too fast! Feeling pretty good these days!

Happy 4th of July 2010

This year we went to the Mall of Georgia.  We met up with some good friends of ours that we hadn't seen in a while.  It was so nice to see them and the kids had a blast.

Here's the kids enjoying watermelon.  Anna got her first taste of watermelon and then proceeded to stalk the other kids in hopes of getting a nibble from theirs.  She LOVED it!

Help Me Choose!

Yesterday, a friend of mine took some photos of the kids for a promo she's doing.  We got the free photo session, but now I am in LOVE with the pictures and can't pick from them!

The Not-So-Busy Summer

How's everyone's summer been?  Ours has been dull and boring except for horse camp and vbs.  Hopefully that will change soon though.  I have my new domain bought for this blog and my sister in law is working on the site.  It's going to be awesome!  I'm looking forward to unveiling our new family blog.

We had a great Father's Day.  We invited some friends over that we hadn't seen in a while and enjoyed great company and tons of laughter.  Chris loves his icecream maker and is experimenting with new icecreams.

I'm doing a lot better.  Getting sleep and drinking coke seem to be helping with the morning sickness.  I'm just about 9 weeks along now.  Haven't been to the doctor yet, but I finally made an appointment.  We will be venturing to Atlanta for my doctor's appointments, so that is going to be interesting.  I will be pawning my kids off on anyone willing to watch them during my appointments as it's an hour and a half drive down and an hour and a half ride back.  Of course, that is without traffic.  With traffic it may be a 6 hour journey!  I'll need lots of prayers, patience, and gas money!

I've got Anna's birthday party planned now.  Can you believe she's going to be ONE in 2 weeks??  Crazy! She's having a cupcake party with the family.  We are going to be serving BABY FOOD!  Or at least Anna's favorite foods: homemade chicken nuggets, applesauce, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and biscuits.  Yum!  We thought about making everyone eat with baby spoons but thought that would be a huge mess!

Doesn't seem that long ago I was bringing this sweet baby home!

And that this was our family this time last year, with me very pregnant, on the 4th.

This year for the fourth, I think we are going to go to the Mall of Georgia.  We had fun when we went 2 years ago.

Time is definately flying by.... as soon as Anna's birthday is over, it'll be time for Gracie's birthday and then back to school!  Gracie's going to have a co-party with her little cousin, Levi, to save money by splitting the food costs with my brother, and help relatives from having to drive up here twice since their birthdays are a week apart.

Well, that's about it for now.  Stay cool - it's hot outside!

Tinkerbell and Isabell

Here's our piggie friends - we went today and picked up a rescue piglet who's about 13-14 weeks old. She had been tossed around to about 6 homes already and was about to be tossed to the curb. She's doing very well and blending into the funny farm just fine :-)

Feeling a Touch Better

I'm feeling a little better..... I'm weaning Anna though.  Didn't really want to but I've been so incredibly sick that I haven't been able to care for her.  I'm thinking my body just couldn't handle nursing, growing another baby, and sustaining myself as well.  Since I've started weaning, I'm feeling a lot better.

On another note, getting ready for Father's Day.  I thought my in-laws were coming over, that's the last I heard from the hubby, but apparently, they aren't.  Got a ton of extra food, so I'm just going to go ahead and have a grand ole time anyways and send the leftovers into work with the hubby.  The kids were really looking forward to it as they are making these nifty cupcakes that we found HERE.

Blah.

Blah.  That's how I feel.  Just Blah.  Anna was by far my easiest pregnancy.  This one is no where near the daily vomitting of Gracie's or the eating everything in sight of Paul's.  I just feel BLAH.  Can't eat anything or I feel sick.  I don't get sick, but it just makes me feel gross.  If I sit up, the room spins.  I needed to take the kids to the doctor today and I couldn't hardley stand up so there was no way I was loading the kids into the car.  Not all the days are like this - just apparently the ones where Hubby is at work and I'm on my own.  I am forever greatful to have very independent children that can feed themselves, entertain themselves, and even feed and entertain their baby sister.  I hate relying on them but right now I don't have any other option.  I started feeding Anna earlier and had to go lay down so Gracie finished.  Just have to keep reminding myself that this is only temporary.  Just a few more weeks and hopefully everything should be smoother sailing.

7 weeks pregnant today.
