Life's a BEACH!

Sooo... Gracie's 4th birthday is coming up.... beginning of August. We had planned on having a birthday party for her with her friends. But Chris has a training class to go to the thursday and friday before we were having her party - it's down in forsyth Georgia. So he's going to that and he asked if we wanted to go and then spend that weekend in SAVANNAH! We talked to Gracie about it and she's rather go to the beach than have a birthday party, so that's what we are going to do! Now to find some beach-wear! So no friends party, just a trip to the beach! Now I just have to figure out what to do with the kids while we are in Forsyth. Supposedly there is nothing around there - except 20 miles away we can go to Macon. But I don't know of anything in Macon! Oh well - we'll last 2 days in Forsyth so we can go 3 days at the BEACH!! Show me your BEACHWEAR!!!

Soooo... we buzzed the little man's hair. He was starting to look like a hippie! It was getting so long in the back and sides! I'll try to remember to take a picture tomorrow!

Okay... I'm in VDSO some Gymboree items! Gymbo is having an awesome sale right now and looking for items from their "Good Old Days" line in size 12-18 months! Anyone going to gymbo and want to help me out? It should be on the clearnace rack at 6.99!

On another note, we all went to chuck e cheese tonight - lots of fun.

I went to the dentist this afternoon as well.... ready for the bad news? The doctor says my wisdom teeth MUST COME OUT. Sniff Sniff. One of them came in completely sideways and is immpossible to brush the back of - they couldn't even get their metal scraper back there. So he said most likely it will get infected or something and is showing signs of breaking down so all 4 need to come out..... I'm SOOOO not looking forward to that. I'm going to wait until I stop nursing though. I'm so scared and not wanting to go through it.... they are going to have to put me in touch with a surgeon. Waaaahhh!! We're trying to figure out when to do it.... I don't think Paul is ready to stop nursing and I dont' think I'm ready either... hey... maybe I'll prolong nursing so I don't have to get my mouth cut open!! I shudder just thinking about it :-(

So that's where we are this week.

Here's the little man! He turned 8 months last Friday!!

We've been really busy - going to athens to swim and just having fun.

Sadly, one of Chris' co-workers passed away of a heart attack this past weekend. Apparently he called in not feeling well 2 days and then didn't show up for work after that and no one could get in touch with him (he's a single father and his daughter lives with her mom). They sent deputies to go check on him and found him in his bed.

Chris is doing better - the dr said it's just bruised really bad and swollen -he's on meds to reduce the swelling and pain and he's on light duty for now.

ARGH... Mr. Paul is using those TEETH! Fortunately not usually while nursing..... just when he's playing.... OOOOUCH!!

Prayers Please..

Well, Chris got jumped last night by an inmate. Pray that he heals well - he is going to the doctor tomorrow under workmen's comp.

I'm now caught up on all my pattern testing. WOO HOO! Now I think I might be ready to develop some of my own patterns! This should be exciting! I am working on Gracie's outfit for her little ceremony this weekend. We are presenting her with her very first bible and she will be reciting Psalm 23 and singing Jesus Loves Me. I'll try to get it on video and see about posting it. Not quite sure how to do that though!

On another note, I've got to keep my stress level down - i got really stressed out the past few weeks to the point where we believe I may have an ulcer. So I need to learn to relax and take things one at a time.

Update June 15th

Good evening all! I have been rather busy lately. FINALLY I can breathe again! After several large orders from my site! Whew! I'm trying to do better about keeping my blog updated, but family and business comes first. Soo... how's the family doing? Well Gracie is doing very well. Next Saturday, we're having a special ceremony for her and she'll be getting her very first bible. She has completely memorized the 23rd song and has a song to sing. She's so smart and headstrong. This little girl is going to make a difference one day. And does she ever love her brother! She's so good with him!

Paul is now being referred to as Chompers. He has 8 teeth! 4 top, 4 bottom. And he knows how to use them! OOUCH! He also thinks he's much older and tries to walk. Of course he falls because his legs aren't ready yet, but he's trying! I think he will walk very early. Who knows though! He pulls up on things and lets go and then tries to take a step! He's not even 8 months yet!!

Chris is doing okay- he's caught a cold that just won't leave! Poor guy!

I'm doing well - working on a special set for Gracie to wear at her little ceremony. Also have plans in the making for a new website. This one is top secret until I get it off the group. Maybe it will be the next big thing! I have some new pics of the kids and will hopefully get those up tonight - photobucket was acting up earlier!

Back to Norm...

Well Chris went back to work tonight after over a week off. That sure was nice having him home! We didnt' get everything done that we had planned, but that's alright.

I believe we've FINALLY found our church home yesterday. We visited another church and fit right in. The church owns a spot on lake hartwell and so for evening church, they often go up to the lake and have church up there and cookouts and let the kids play and swim! How fun! We had a blast yesterday at the lake!

Off to crochet more. Got another cupcake order and am finishing a large order that will be shipped to Canada. Finally am done with pattern testing (for now!)!

Hot Date!

I had a HOT DATE this afternoon! Grandma came over and watch the kiddos for us this afternoon! We got some much-needed time out! We went to Johnny Carino's. OH MY GOSH! EXCELLENT FOOD! Some of the best I've ever tasted!! Afterward Chris took me for some shopping at Kohl's. We just had a nice time and before returning home he took me to on of the ice cream shops and we split a brownie sundae! What a nice afternoon!

Wow - it is SOOOOO hot out.... the car was registering 95 degrees today! Hope you have a great weekend! We're trying a new church tomorrow!

Mean 'Ole Teeth

My poor little man has been so miserable today. He's getting his 4th tooth. Yes 4th already. He's 7 months! He's having such a hard time with them! He HATES oragel so that doesn't help. I've been having to just keep giving him tylenol. It was so bad his little gums were bleeding where this one is trying to come through. And they are all so swollen :-( Babies this young shouldn't get teeth... :-(
